Hello friends!
In this blog post, I will be summarising my holiday that may give you an idea of my personality or what I like/dislike.
At the beginning of my 2020 holiday
, it was my birthday which I had celebrated on the 13th of December but my birthday is on the 16th. I had all my friends over and a few family members, there were games and food. The decoration was really nice and my family, definitely put a lot of their effort into it. The food was amazing, the games were entertaining, we had lots of laughs and I just generally thought it was a great party.
The next day we had gone on the Abel Tasman Coast Track again but this time we were planning to go to the Cleopatra Pools. The walk was so long, tiring, exhausting, on top of that the weather was not complementary to the activity. It was boiling hot, since the whole family came along we had to alternate with carrying the baby. I was the one who ended up holding her the most, alternating with her on a sling, my shoulders, and carrying her on my hip. We had to walk to Anchorage first and that took about 4 hours which was about 12.4 km. We ended up giving up on going to the Cleopatra Pools. Because our legs had died on us we were so tired, and our problem had come up. We had no idea how to get back, we were so exhausted we just couldn't walk back, we ended up just laying on the grass we even took a nap, we had nothing better to do. So why not swim in the ocean and that what we did, it was so hot so why not, but we couldn't stay there forever. Although there was a hut, we couldn't find any of the staff which was frustrating. If I could say so myself we were extremely lucky like so lucky, we asked one of the water taxi drivers if we could possibly fit in. Usually, you had to book a spot but the lady was kind enough o offer us a spot. Just on the last boat, that's I'm saying we were extremely lucky, and I was so happy that we didn't need to walk back.
In my family, we frequently go on hikes and we definitely enjoy it a lot so we are usually used to the exhaustion. I think the longest hike we've been was at Mt. Somner which was about 12 hours back and forth. I think that was my favorite, the water was apparently clean enough to drink, it was so beautiful.
After those special events, I just did what you would have usually done in the holidays. I slept, ate, and hung out with friends. I had spent $50 with friends in just a few hours. I mean what can I say I've even spent $300 on just clothes in one day. I guess you could say I save up to spend, I don't know how but that's what I do.
That was the rest of my holidays nothing else special happened, but I definitely found my holiday enjoyable and entertaining.
