Drama - Chorus work

On Tuesday the 23rd of July period 3 and 4 we had drama class within those periods we were learning about slam poetry. We had to be in a group of 3 or in pairs, In my group was Skyler, Shiela, and I, we started slam poetry in period 4. So Shiela had to leave for her ESOL, Shiela left and I and Skyler started to carry on with making the poem. A slam poem is basically like a poem with a new generation it's like you can rap the poem make it elegant and add trending things these days. When doing a slam poem it's mostly based on kids between 9 and 18 years of age, Most kids do slam poetry to express themselves or want there voices to be heard by others.

For our poem, we based it on our favorite band BTS also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan they are a Kpop band that is famous not only in Korea but worldwide. Since we are in ARMY which stands for Adorable Representatives for MC Youth which is BTS's fandom. We wanted to just let everyone know how dedicated we are to BTS, They taught us how to love ourselves and realize how important we are. Their songs are inspiring hey are just amazing that's why we love BTS. Other people in the class decided o do it about what they like or what to think of yourself's even Racism and political services. 

Before we did the poem we did some warm-ups the warm-up was called the donut, we just needed to make a big circle and a smaller circle on the inside which created a donut. You needed to buddy up and share what you enjoyed in the holidays then we had to make a story but you needed to say one word and the other person says a word.

Strivers, Inspiring, Passionate, Remarkable

Idols that helped their fans to develop high self-esteem, to love themselves, to keep on moving forward even if things get hard, to smile.

For their fans to appreciate themselves, family, friends, fans, and each other.

Pain, Loved and Fulfilled

Doubting themselves, Not being good enough, Families not supporting their dream

Artist of the Year, Billboard Singers, The next  Beatles, The First Korean Boy Band who performed in Wembley Stadium, earned a Big Fandom

They want to keep on making music that will inspire people, that will be the cure for people’s misery, that will teach their fans to love themselves
